So many people can't keep secrets. I'm amazed this guy never told anyone, not even his brothers. As for how people never noticed? Never heard? Stories in the news all the time, people just either oblivious, or making assumptions about TV, stereo, domestic fights..........goes on all the time

Changing ocean temperatures does'n't bode well for sea life. That new sci fi movie where the rich live off planet while the billions of poor fight for scraps? Star Trek movies dead oceans? Sounds like a not too distant reality as the human population gets bigger and bigger ever faster.

He sounds a little mentally or emotionally disabled so stealing from a camp for the disabled is an odd sort of kismet. Apparently he didn't even feel up to enough contact to ask for help.

I can't figure out if they were high on their own, or maybe tried eating some vegetation that made them sick/high or if it was just the anxiety. Having had one anxiety attack 30 years ago back in my 20s (on a back packing trip no less) they can be very scary and debilitizing.

People need energy. Trying to minimize energy use, different types etc. is just stalling the real problem - too many humans on the planet. If we can't control population its all for naught.
